Bona fide.

Why I'm here and how I arrived.

I started in the health and wellness field in 2002, when I enrolled at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy (where I later served as an adjunct faculty member). After graduating, I studied Thai yoga massage, aromatherapy, energy work, BodyTalk, and various forms of muscle therapy. After working as a massage therapist for nine and a half years (six of which I owned and operated Midsummer Massage Therapy), I decided to transition my practice.

I now focus entirely on consciousness-based health, primarily through the BodyTalk system and Access Bars. I maintain my massage credentials, and occasionally incorporate massage and aromatherapy into BodyTalk sessions.

Why the switch? Better results, happier clients...and it's just much more fun. Energy work encourages exploration, intuition, questioning, and discovery. It's an excellent space to inhabit.

I also earned a B.A. in English with a Women’s Studies minor from Goshen College in 1995, and I spent several years as a freelance copywriter and proofreader.
